1. Who We Are

myFinCalculators (accessible at myfincalculators.com) is a free financial calculator platform. We provide tools to help individuals understand their finances — including FIRE calculations, compound interest, budget planning, and more. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

Your financial inputs — including income, savings, expenses, ages, investment amounts, and any numbers you enter into our calculators — are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit, store, or have any access to this data. When you close the page, it is gone.

We do not require you to create an account to use any calculator. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or any personally identifying information to access our tools.

3. Data We Do Collect

3.1 Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. This includes pages visited, time spent, browser type, device type, and general geographic location (country/region level). This data is aggregated and anonymised — it cannot be used to identify you personally. Google Analytics may use cookies to track sessions.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3.2 Email Subscriptions (Optional)

Some pages include an optional email field where you can sign up to be notified when a new calculator launches, or to receive our newsletter. If you choose to submit your email address, we store it securely via Google Sheets for the sole purpose of sending you the notification you requested. We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. You can request deletion of your email at any time by contacting us.

4. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies beyond what is set by Google Analytics (described above). We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party marketing trackers. Our site does not require cookies to function — all calculators work without any cookies stored.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics 4 — website analytics (see Section 3.1)
• Google Fonts — we load Jost and Cormorant Garamond fonts from Google's CDN. Google may log the request, but this data is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
• Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel may log server access requests (IP address, timestamp, URL) as part of standard server operation. These logs are ephemeral and subject to Vercel's privacy policy.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the European Union or California, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold (limited to email addresses you voluntarily submitted):

• Right to access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to erasure — you can request deletion of your email address at any time
• Right to rectification — you can request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to object — you can object to processing of your data

Since we do not collect financial inputs, payment data, or any other personal data beyond optional email submissions, there is no other personal data to access or delete.

7. Data Retention

Email addresses submitted for notifications are retained until you request deletion. We do not retain any financial inputs (they are never transmitted to our servers). Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default settings (26 months).

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of myFinCalculators after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
